About Jochen…

Jochen Feilcke, was born on August 19, 1942 in Hannover. He graduated from the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Gymnasium in Hannover and went on to study political science and economics at the Free University in Berlin. After finishing his studies he began working in the field of political adult education.

He was responsible for vocational training and for labor market issues for the Berlin Employers’ Association and managing director of the Educational Institute for Industry and Commerce for Continuing Education and Management Training in Berlin.
Jochen Feilcke served in political office for 28 years: 4 years as member of the local Parliament in the Berlin district Schöneberg, 8 years as a member of the Berlin House of Representatives and 16 years as a member of the German Bundestag.

Following his political career, Feilcke launched his new professional career. Today he combines his professional and political experiences in his own company Jochen Feilcke - Kommunikation Wirtschaft und Politik.(Communications Business and Politics)

Honorary Commitments:

maintaing and expanding German-Israeli relations as chairman of the German-Israeli Association in Berlin and Potsdam (Deutsch-Israelische Gesellschaft in Berlin und Potsdam)

Lions International, the world's largest civic service organization. He is member of the board in Lions Club Berlin Mitte, where he is responsible for public relations.

Jochen Feilcke completed extended training programs during the parliamentary recess and is reserve officer, Lieutenant Commander in the Germany Navy

His hobby is golf, his handicap -17.9
